Katie Price and her fiancé Carl Woods have been vocal about their hopes of having a baby together.

However, the smitten couple – who hope to tie the knot this year – have revealed that they may struggle to conceive due to Carl using steroids to bulk up in his younger years.

It is well known that performance-enhancing drugs that increase muscle mass and decrease fat can cause many undesirable effects – such as fertility issues.

And as the former glamour model, 42, who is already mother to five children, and ex Love Island star, 32, appeared on Channel 4 show Steph’s Packed Lunch on Wednesday they explained how Carl used to take Anabolic steroids to build muscle.

Katie and Carl ended the chat by explaining that Carl is now waiting to discuss his results and Katie added that she has some appointments to check that her womb is strong enough to carry following four caesarean operations.

It comes after Katie said the lovebirds have never used protection when getting between the sheets.

She told The Sun : “We have never been careful having sex from day one, as we knew we wanted to be together.”
