Todd Grimshaw continues his wicked plan on Coronation Street next week, but there are huge consequences for others on the Street.

After stealing an expensive heat pump that his partner Billy Mayhew had purchased for the halfway house, his actions lead to a life-changing decision by the vicar.

Ed Bailey is left feeling awkward when he’s forced to reveal the insurance company will not pay out for the stolen pump.

He was storing it for Billy in the builder’s yard, and has no idea that Todd snuck in and stole it – with him being blackmailed for a lot of money by Will.

Ed’s news leaves Billy mortified, as he used funds from the church to pay for the pump and now they are out of pocket.

Billy worries about how this all looks and believes he can no longer do his beloved job.

He arranges a meeting with the bishop, and it’s then that he announces he plans to resign as archdeacon.

The youngster was taken by thugs recently while Nick was in witness protection with partner Leanne Battersby.

He was found, thankfully, and was okay but Nick fears the worst next week when Sam appears to go missing.

After already panicking about a graze on his son’s knee, things escalate when he begins searching the streets for his ‘missing’ son who is actually on the flat balcony listening to music.

After Fiz Brown decided to sell her story to the paper about partner Tyrone Dobbs dumping her for a younger woman, Alina, things remain frosty next week between the trio.

Newcomer Chris tries to get her to write a follow-up article, but will she?

Tyrone is also considering writing a response, but pal Kevin Webster advises him against it.

When Fiz learns of his proposed article she confronts him.

Later, Fiz enjoys a date with new love interest Phill leaving Tyrone annoyed, and he refuses to look after the girls when she reveals she has a second date.

Instead, he takes Alina to the same restaurant that the pair are dining at and watches her the entire time, annoying his new girlfriend.

Things get awkward though when Tyrone makes digs at his ex once Alina heads home, also making remarks about Phill – but when his card is declined he’s left embarrassed.

As Phill offers to pay for the bill, a humiliated Tyrone drunkenly takes a swing at him only to fall over.

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
