The Chase host Bradley Walsh was left rather shocked on Wednesday’s episode when pensioner Sandra revealed to him that she watches the show and fantasises.
Retired secretary Sandra, from Surrey, was second up in the instalment of the ITV quizzing game show, and Bradley told her: “Welcome to the show, Sandra, from Surrey. What do you do down in Surrey?”
Sandra replied: “I am retired, I’m 75.”
“Okay, and what did you do?” asked Brad.
“I was a secretary for many years, and then I was a carer for my mother,” said Sandra.
Bradley asked: “And what do you do now that you’re retired?”
Sandra was sadly caught by Chaser Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis, and viewers were disappointed to see Sandra go home after being so much fun.
“Sandra was such a hoot! If the team wins, they should give her some “counting” money anyway. # TheChase ,” wrote one.
“Petition to keep Sandra for the final chase # TheChase ,” added another, while a third begged: ” # TheChase Aww bring Sandra back! Love that lady!”
