BBC viewers ‘gobsmacked’ at X-rated object spotted on guest’s shelf

There were eyebrows raised among viewers of BBC Wales Today on Tuesday evening, after a rather saucy looking object was spotted on screen.

The Welsh news show was interviewing a guest via a video-link when those watching became distracted by an eye-watering sex toy that was standing proud behind the interviewee.

With the coronavirus pandemic leaving many stuck at home as only essential journeys and those that have to go out to work being allowed to get out of their own four walls.

So, the BBC news show looked to see how women in Cardiff were being affected by the lockdown and what they have done to overcome any mental health issues that can become prominent during these unprecedented times.

The awkward mishap left some feeling sorry for the woman being interviewed, with suggestions that she had had a “mare”.

One viewer tweeted: “Good interview this evening…..may wanna tidy your shelves though love.”

Another commented: “My latest addiction is staring at people’s houses on zoom when my kids do online clubs.

“Have you seen the dildo on a bookshelf during BBC Wales?”

At least the interviewee can say she has made a last impression during lockdown and there is a hint at an explanation why she had such a broad smile on her face.
