Ant McPartlin shares thoughts on I’m A Celebrity returning to Wales this year

Ant McPartlin has spoken about whether he would like to see I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! return to Wales this year, rather than return to the the Australian jungle.

The 45-year old host of the popular ITV series said he would be “very happy” if the show came from North Wales again, especially after viewers seemed to enjoy the new location as well.

The last series was filmed in the UK for the first time after the coronavirus pandemic forced producers to abandon plans to make the programme in its usual base in Australia.

Ant told Digital Spy that, although they would be happy to stay in the UK, he would miss the Australian weather.

Ant also discussed his recent engagement to Anne-Marie Corbett.

He said: “It was a lovely way to end the year.

“I’m a romantic at heart. You know, there were flowers, and afternoon tea in front of the Christmas tree.”

When asked whether Dec would be the best man at his wedding, he said: “He was very good last time. He has been my best man. I’ve been his best man.

“But I suppose it depends on what kind of wedding we have. There’s been no plans.”
