Katie Price says she’s ‘shrewd but acts stupid’ as she looks back on party days

Katie Price has shared an insight into how she thinks about her fame.

The former glamour model, now 42, first rose to celebrity status as a model in lads’ mags at 18.

Then, in 2004, she rocketed to household name status during her I’m A Celebrity stint.

And ever since, the mum-of-five has drawn cameras wherever she goes.

Harking back to the early years of her celebrity and some wild partying antics, Katie shared: “What I am is shrewd.

“I act stupid, but I know what’s going on.”

Appearing on BBC2’s Celebrity: A 21st Century Story, Katie spoke over a montage of old stories about her.

“I was going out clubbing, getting p**sed, falling out of nightclubs” she recalled, “I’ve always been me, and there’s just always been a drama.”

During I’m A Celeb, Katie caught the eye of Aussie pop star heartthrob Peter Andre, who she married the year after leaving the jungle.

They now share two kids, but went their separate ways in 2009.

She’s been married twice since, once to Alex Reid and once to Kieran Hayler, who’s divorce from Katie is expected to be finalised any day now.

Katie has Jett, six, and Bunny, five, with Kieran, and her eldest Harvey with footballer ex Dwight Yorke.

And despite a few bumps along the road in her love life, Katie feels she’s found the man she’s always been looking for – her “rock”, Carl Woods.

The two struck up a romance over the summer, papped together in classic Pricey style before they went public with their relationship.

They quickly became smitten and Carl – who previously appeared on Love Island – earned a thumbs up from Katie’s five kids and even her two ex-husbands.

What solidified their relationship was dutiful Carl caring for her after a nasty accident left her wheelchair bound.

And now they’ve even got marriage and kids on the mind, Katie sharing that they’ll definitely be tying the knot but she doesn’t know when.
