Lorraine: Ranvir Singh makes fun of Alison Hammond’s ‘Hi-vis’ jacket
Alison Hammond found herself mercilessly teased today by her co-stars over her choice of jacket today on This Morning.
The 47-year-old presenter was joined by co-star Dermot O’Leary to host the ITV show while Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield during the Easter holidays.
But as Ranvir Singh – who is covering for Lorraine Kelly – spoke to the pair, she couldn’t help pointing out her interesting fashion choice.
She joked: “I like your hi-vis jacket, Ali.”
As Alison burst out laughing, Dermot quipped: “There’s a bit of stewarding going on afterwards.”
Alison gave him the elbow and later, as they greeted viewers, she said: “Can you believe what Ranvir just said about me? She said I’m wearing a hi-vis jacket!”

Glancing at her orange garment, Dermot said: “I didn’t get the memo, I didn’t know that we were moonlight-“
“This is not hi-vis,” Alison insisted. “This is just, what I would say, a coral jacket?”
“I didn’t know we were moonlighting and doing that bin round later on,” Dermot joked as he grabbed a real hi-vis jacket from his chair and put it on.
Laughing, Alison asked: “What are you doing? Oh no!”

“What do you mean ‘oh no’?” Dermot asked in faux confusion. “I know now!”
Alison exclaimed: “You’ve made us look like bin men!”
“Or stewards, yeah,” Dermot replied.
“Oh, I’m devastated,” Alison said.
“There’s roadworks going down at White City,” Dermot said as Alison continued: “I’m going to have to tell David to go and get me another top.”
Dermot showed the back of his hi-vis jacket, which had the words ‘ fire warden’ on the back.
He then stood behind Alison and joked: “Oh, you’ve got it too!”
Alison pleaded: “Oh, stop it! See, Ranvir, you’ve started all this off! I cannot believe it. This is the style, this is what I’m wearing today.”
