In the year 2135, beings called “Arachnids” begin their conquest on Earth and with help from an innovative weapon called The Arachno-Plasmic Pulse Disrupter (APP) they quickly take over most of North America. After years fighting back the invasion, one small group has found a new way to stop them: by using fear itself as ammunition against this seemingly unstoppable menace.

In the far future, Earth’s nations have banded together to form the Federation, a global government. The Federation then set out on a mission to conquer space. Planets are colonized and new planetary systems are explored by Earthlings.
They interact with alien cultures as well. They are gradually being threatened by one of them, the belligerent civilisation of the Arachnids. This race of huge insects does, in fact, conduct assaults from its Klendathua 1 system on a regular basis. Earthlings are separated into two main factions within the Federation.

When the colony of Pluto is stormed by extraterrestrial Arachnids in 2078, the Federation, the human world government, launches “Operation Pest”: it sends its armed forces to defend the research bases installed on Pluto through the Intervention of the Strategically Integrated Coalition of Nations, believing in a simple infestation.
However, the Federation soon discovers that the Arachnids are more smarter and more organized than simple gigantic insects, prompting the “First Interstellar War.”

After a fight with the Arachnids, the Bravo 6 company of troops seeks safety in an abandoned outpost in the Anvil of Satan area. Hundreds of adversaries encircle them, but the insects are separated from the troops by a strong electric fence. A captain imprisoned for murdering his superior and three miraculously surviving troops from different units swiftly join the gang of soldiers.
After then, a painful closed-door session starts. Lei Sahara, one of the troops, is shown to have psychic abilities as well as being pregnant. This condition greatly enhances his psychic abilities and enables him to detect anomalous behavior in some troops.
Marauder is the third installment in the Starship Troopers franchise (2008)

Colonel John Rico of the Mobile Infantry is now stationed on the agricultural planet of Roku San, where he is battling more tenacious and aggressive Arachnoforms that assault fortifications guarded by a fatal electric wire.
Invasion of the Starship Troopers (2012)

After the Arachnids attacked the Fort Casey outpost, the Alésia ship was sent to assist the John A. Warden and rescue the survivors. The John A. Warden, which had been requisitioned by Carl Jenkins, Minister of Paranormal Affairs, for a secret mission, vanishes from radar on the way back. Alesia is sent on a rescue mission by General Johnny Rico.
The crew learns that the John A. Warden has been infiltrated by parasites, who have assumed control of the vessel. The insects manage to utilize the guns to smash the Alesia and activate the engines.
Mars Traitor: Starship Troopers (2017)

Following the events of Invasion, Johnny Rico was once again used as a scapegoat, demoted to colonel, and sent to a Martian satellite to train a new batch of warriors. These warriors, on the other hand, are the worst Rico has ever taught, displaying no war spirit despite the fact that Mars is not yet participating in the bug war and, in fact, is advocating for pacification.
Because of their laid-back demeanor, the residents of Mars are caught off guard when the insects invade. Meanwhile, Air Marshal Amy Snapp lays out her intentions to grab power in complete secrecy.

Are There Any More Starship Troopers Films in the Works?
