Love Island’s Dale brutally ditches Abi and snogs Mary after awkward recoupling

Tuesday night’s recoupling on Love Island left things pretty tense amongst the islanders, and things look to get even more awkward in the villa, as Dale Mehmet enjoys a kiss with Mary Bedford – behind partner Abigail Rawlings ‘ back!

After tattoo artist Abi choose Dale to couple up with, model Mary was left fuming as she was piped to the post and left with no option but to pick the remaining boy, Sam Jackson.

However, it seems the Wakefield-born beauty has got her man one way or another as it’s been revealed that the 22-year-old star plants a kiss on the Scottish barber during Wednesday night’s episode.

During tonight’s show,m Abi tells hi: “I feel awful. I feel like I’ve torn a couple apart. I didn’t realise that you two were that close.’

Dale confesses: “I’ll be straight up with you. Me and her [Mary] vibe good and I feel like we’re getting on really well. I do really like her,’ to which Abi responds: “F**k sake. Why has no-one spoke to me?”

Mary and Abi’s fist love triangle came about when Toby Aromolaran returned to the villa with Casa Amor bombshell Mary on his arm – leaving 27-year-old Abi stood by the iconic fire pit alone.

However, in a case of history repeating itself, model Mary has also began to fall for the Scottish 24-year-old, as then-partner Toby rekindled things with former flame Chloe Burrows.

On the First Look preview for Wednesday night’s show, viewers can see Mary and Dale enjoying a chat on the terrace, before the potential lovers are interrupted by brunette beauty Abi.

“What the f**k am I supposed to say now?” Mary whispered to Clarisse, as she realised the only islander left to pick was newcomer Sam.
