The latest series of Love Island is fast approaching and it’s reportedly set to feature the show’s first deaf contestant.

Dancer Natasha Ghouri, 23, is said to be ready to enter the villa in search for love when the new series gets underway next week.

A source told The Sun everyone is really excited about her alleged inclusion.

“It’s something really positive for youngsters to see,” the source said.

“Natasha looks amazing in a bikini and has a bubbly personality.”

Blonde beauty Natasha, who hails from London and was born deaf, went viral last year in a clothing ad for ASOS.

The clip saw her show her cochlear implant in an earring commercial and Natasha said at the time: “No matter what disability you’ve got, you can do it.”

Natasha’s potential inclusion will see her follow in the footsteps of EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis in competing in a reality TV contest.

The actress, 27, won last year’s Strictly Come Dancing Competition and Annie Harris of the Royal National Institute for Deaf has praised the news of Natasha supposedly heading to the villa.

She told The Sun: “We are really pleased that another major TV show is featuring a deaf contestant.

“Representation matters.”

The Mirror has contacted ITV for a comment.

The year’s series sees fans “praying” for a “real folk cast” after claiming the show has been overrun by “fake” influencers in recent series.

When the show returns to the screens on June 6, viewers are said to be wanting to see “ordinary people” grace the villa.

One fan said they’d prefer to see “Sandra from Asda and Dan from Spoons” than fake influencers.

They on social media: “”Praying for a real folk cast, gimmie Sandra from Asda and Dan from spoons none of this ‘I’m a model’ ‘I’m an influencer’ crap.”

Another wrote: “I need Tesco staff, BT engineers and Primark workers on this year’s Love Island. The whole influencer/model thing is mad tired.”

While the show hasn’t had a flurry of surviving relationships, one couple is continuing to go from strength to strength.

Loved-up couple Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt have welcomed their second child – a baby girl.

They first met on the show in 2017 and announced the arrival of their second daughter Nora Belle on social media on Saturday evening (May 28).
