With the 2022 series of Love Island set to kick off on Monday, it is safe to say any budding couple will be keen to get a night in the villa’s exclusive Hideaway.
Bosses have spent the past week furiously trying to get the new abode in tip-top shape for when the 11 new sexy singletons walk through it’s doors, with work only beginning of the separate bedroom this week.
The secret den is a prize gifted to couples to have a night away from the shared bedroom.
The Hideaway is only available on special occasions and features a huge double bed and a wardrobe filled with racy sex toys.

Those wanting to spend the night have to wait until a text comes through either telling them they have a night alone with their flame or asking the cast to pick a couple.
And while it is usually is a chance for couple’s to get hot under the covers, it has be known to bring plenty of drama.
Here we look back at the Hideaway’s biggest ever rows which divided the villa:
Alex and Zara’s one-night-stand: Series 2

Zara Holland quickly regretted her decision to enjoy a night of steamy passion with newbie Alex Bowen on Love Island back in series 2.
The then 20-year-old jumped at the chance to pick Alex when the public gave her the choice to go on a date with him or James Khan.
They went off to the Hideaway and in scenes no one saw coming the pair had sex under the covers – despite Alex spending the day flirting with Olivia Buckland.
But the morning after the night before and the Miss Great Britain had some huge regrets about her decision, before confessing to Olivia, who was very unhappy.

Following her racy night, Zara was stripped of her pageant title and later said she was “heartbroken”.
Olivia, meanwhile, managed to forgive them and went on to date Alex in the villa, with the pair later marrying and are now expecting their first child this summer.
Maura’s explosive row with Tom after his sexist quip: Series 5

Maura Higgins was left reeling when she overheard Tom Walker joking with the boys about whether she was “all mouth [and no action]”.
As she headed outside, she heard Tom’s crude comment before confronting him.
“What did you just say to them?” Maura asked Tom.
“Nowt, why? Just then? Be interesting to see if you’re all mouth or not,” he repeated back to her.
Trying to understand where he went wrong, Tom said: “Because they were saying you’re going to eat me alive.”
“Are you joking? That’s a d**khead comment. F**k off. Are you f**king joking, you just said that? Go f**k yourself,” Maura shouted at him before storming inside the villa.
Tom groaned aloud and put his hands over his face in defeat as he walked dejectedly back out to the garden, telling the hysterical boys: “F**ked it. F**ked it.”
Dr Alex unimpressed by Alexandra’s racy lingerie: Series 5

Love Island fans were raging when Dr Alex dismissed Alexandra’s sexy negligee.
Alexandra decided to put on the very racy lingerie, something for their night in The Hideaway.
And while all the boys’ jaws hit the floor, Alex cooly replied, “why are you wearing that?”

Adding insult to injury, he then surprised her by wearing a garish purple sequined waistcoat and proceeded to do a strange strip routine.
And things went from bad to worse with Alex later admitting he felt like he could be more compatible with someone outside the villa during the lie detector test.
He also got busted lying about preferring new Laura to Alexandra.
Millie’s ‘huge turn off’ with Liam: Series 7

In last year’s series, Millie Court revealed her hunky partner Liam Reardon has an annoying habit that could get in the way of their romance.
The 6ft 6 Welshman loves to have a sing song – even when it’s just him and Millie in the Hideaway for a steamy night together.
During a chat with the girls about their biggest turn-offs, Millie admitted: “That’s the one thing where I’m like, ‘No, no, no, no…stop singing’.”
Narrator Iain Stirling then joked that there was only one way to prove if this was true or not – and cut back to Millie and Liam’s hideaway romp, where sure enough, he was belting out the tunes.
Jake woos Liberty after doubts: Series 7

Last year, Liberty Poole admitted she feared Jake Cornish was going to discard her for one of the show’s newcomers, just after they headed to the Hideaway.
The girls were out for brunch when they all received a selfie from the boys new arrivals Lucinda and Millie.
That put the cat amongst the pigeons with Liberty having been put on red alert.
Fans were already fuming that she headed to the hideaway with ‘snake’ Jake after he had repeated conversations saying he wasn’t as into her as he’d like to be and his head “could be turned” if a new girl entered the villa.
He had also said he didn’t look at her “and want to rip her clothes off”.
Shortly after the couple broke up and Liberty left the villa.
