Holly Willoughby finally returned to This Morning on Wednesday after falling ill with coronavirus.
The mother-of-three admitted it was “sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lovely to be back” with her pal Phillip Schofield.
Taking to Instagram, Holly shared the usual snap of her outfit which consisted of a pink midi-length dress by Rixo.
Holly, 41, teamed the floral garment with a pair of nude heels and pink lipstick as she posed backstage.
Her 7.7 million followers were quick to comment on the post, with one person writing: “You’ve been missed, I’m so glad you’re back.”
Another person posted: “Pink is definitely your colour,” while a third person commented: “Looking Uber fabulous darling.”
During Tuesday’s This Morning, Phillip confirmed that Holly would be returning mid-week after testing negative for Covid.
Joined by Alison Hammond, he said of Holly: “We’re pleased to say that… she’s negative and she’s back tomorrow.”
Alison burst into song as she belted out: “Celebrate good times, come on!”
Laughing, Phil quipped: “See you tomorrow!”
Grinning, Alison said: “Cheers, friend.”
It comes after Phil explained on Monday’s show that Holly kept testing positive with the virus and that it was “driving her crazy”.
Opening the show today, he said: “Josie is back! I’ve been texting Holly all through the weekend and she’s absolutely fine. She just has that incredibly persistent and annoying red line that won’t go away.
“She’ll be sitting at home. It’s driving her crazy.”
Holly was forced to miss the Dancing On Ice semi-final and the whole of last week’s This Morning after testing positive for Covid last Sunday.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
