This series of The Great British Bake Off has managed to go ahead in the middle of a global pandemic thanks to the contestants moving away from their families and bubbling up together.
We’ve so far had ice-cream meltdowns, dodgy brownies and a single handshake from Paul Hollywood – and while the series isn’t over yet, bosses are already looking to recruit the next batch of amateur bakers for next year’s show.
So how exactly do you find yourself nervously explaining to judges Paul and Prue Leith how your Showstopper will withstand gravity, while hosts Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas try to eat your ingredients?
Luckily, the application process is now open, and it’s super-easy to apply. Here’s how.
You’ve got just under a month to get your application in – the deadline is 11.59pm on Sunday December 6 2020.
How to apply for Bake Off 2021?
There’s a website dedicated to talking you through the application process. You can either submit it online, or request a form be posted to you by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 0207 067 4837 with your full name, address (including postcode) and telephone number.
Remember the deadline is December 6, so bear that in mind if you’re applying by post.
