Gogglebox favourites Jenny and Lee had some upsetting news for fans of the Channel 4 series at the start of last night’s show.
The Hull duo made the announcement as they put up their Christmas tree.
The long-term pals shared a photo on Instagram as they beamed at the camera but the mood didn’t stay very festive.
They captioned the post: “Happy Friday everyone or is it?
“Last Gogglebox of the series tonight (crying emoji)
“Hope you enjoy the show bit of light relief, we’re still doing the tree now the cameras have gone, see ya at 9.”

But luckily we haven’t seen the last of them in 2020.
There will be no fewer than three Gogglebox specials over the Christmas period, looking back at some of the funniest moments from the year.
Celebrity Gogglebox’s 2020 highlights episode will air on Friday, December 18.
It will feature featuring Rylan-Clark-Neal and his mum Linda, Roman Kemp and singer dad Martin Kemp and Denise van Outen and her partner Eddie.
Radio stars Jamie Theakston and Ashley Roberts, comical duo Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aleshe and Happy Mondays bandmates Shaun Ryder and Bez will also appear.
Then on Christmas Day, Gogglebox: Best of 2020 will hit our screens.
That’s not it – another Festive Special is coming January 1, as they families look back at the biggest Christmas TV moments.
But fans are heartbroken the latest series is now at an end.
One commented said: “Aww, gutted this season is nearly over. Merry Christmas to you guys.”
Another put: “Gutted it’s the last one, you two are the tonic we all need right now.”
A third said: “Well I for one will miss you all. Have a great Christmas and stay safe.”
