EastEnders appeared to air quite the romance twist on Monday night, as it looked as though things were getting steamy for none other than Phil Mitchell and Kat Slater.
Despite their recent criminal history, it appears the two Walford residents have changed their opinions of each other.
Just a couple of years ago, Kat was involved in the attack on Phil, when her cousin Stacey Slater left him for dead – with Kat taking the blame.
Then last year saw her romance with Kush Kazemi hit the rocks when his gambling addiction was revealed – amid their dodgy deal with Phil, as they planned a robbery.
Now, amid chaos for the pair it seems their relationship could be about to change – amid hints of them getting closer.

On Monday night, Kat demanded a courtesy car after he and son Ben failed to fix her broken down cab on time.
He let her borrow a motor, only for it to break down – with her claiming it had a flat tyre.
Kat then shared her horror over having to race to a tube station in heels, with her unable to pick up the foot spa she had ordered online.

Tracking Phil down she had a word, telling him she was owed a refund.
Phil was confused given it was a free car, but she then made a seductive comment that hinted she was after more than just a massage.
She told him she wanted a refund for the foot spa she didn’t get, before smirking – as Phil looked on a little puzzled.

Later on, Phil was at The Arches and it was clear he was hiding something inside as ex Sharon arrived – wanting to know why he stood her up on their romantic meal date, with him claiming it was all too soon for him.
But as he returned inside, Kat stepped out from a car wearing overalls that were undone at the top to reveal her bra.
Pulling a sultry pose, she told him: “I thought I should pop something on just in case…” as Phil pulled the biggest grin ever.

It seemed she was chucking the nearest clothing on in case Sharon walked in and caught them at it.
It was clear the pair had got pretty steamy, leaving viewers stunned.
While some fans were loving the idea of the new power couple, others weren’t so keen on them getting steamy.
One fan wrote: “Kat and Phil is the relationship I never knew EastEnders needed but I’m sure we now do.”
Another said: “Kat and Phil! I’m here for it.”
A third added: “What have I just witnessed ?’ Kat & PHIL ?! When? Why?”
A fourth tweeted: “What on earth just happened.”
EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
