Season 46 has brought in the highest ratings for SNL in the past four years. Election years always bring in more views for SNL, and this year’s political climate especially has provided no shortage of material. Additionally, SNL has been able to carry on with a live studio audience despite the pandemic. This season has also brought in some heavy hitters as far as guests go.
