Billie Shepherd has thanked fans of The Mummy Diaries following the series’ cancellation.
The ITVBe reality series was announced on Saturday to have ended following Sam Faiers’ decision to depart the show.
However, older sister Billie Shepherd, 31, will now get her own spin-off series centring on her life with her husband Greg.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Billie shared a series of images from The Mummy Diaries and also family photos of her with Greg and snaps with sister Sam.
Captioning the post, Billie penned: “As one journey ends another begins [shooting star emoji]…. And What an incredible journey it has been [red heart emoji] filming with my sister and family for the past 7 years has been the most wonderful experience and we truly have made the BEST memories all together”.
She continued: “I’m so grateful to ITV and Potato for giving me and my children the best home movies anyone could ask for, I could never have imagined 7 years ago that we would still be here today- 9 series on! But more importantly, I will be forever appreciative to our incredible viewers.”
Sam ended by noting: “There’s no family more entertaining than the Shepherds, so I can’t wait to sit back as a viewer for a change and watch the fun play out while I have a few adventures of my own away from the cameras.”
The Mummy Diaries aired on ITV Be and ITV Hub and is now available on Britbox.
