The tumultuous love triangle between Fiz Stape, Phill Whittaker and Tyrone Dobbs explodes on Coronation Street next week, as a secret is finally revealed.
In the dramatic upcoming scenes, Fiz (Jennie McAline), Phill (Jamie Kenna) and Tyrone (Alan Halsall) will see a major fight and an out of control digger.
Elsewhere on the cobbles, tensions are high as Abi Webster (Sally Carman) prepares to flee with baby Alfie but a shocked Kevin (Michael le Vell) could threaten keeping her plan under wraps.
Meanwhile, Summer Spellman has a horror week in store as her diabetes diagnosis results in her being rushed to hospital after abusing insulin.
Here is everything coming on the cobbles next week…
Hope goes on digger rampage
Coronation Street will see construction chaos on the soap next week, as dramatic scenes unfold between Hope and her mum Fiz’s new boyfriend Phill.
ITV spoilers have revealed that Fiz’s daughter Hope borrows Phill’s laptop – and she is the one who uncovers the truth about what he’s doing.
In true Hope style, she takes her own brand of revenge and Phill hears the noise of the mini-digger on the driveway.
When he dashes round the house to find out what’s going on, Phill’s horrified to see Hope and as she pulls a lever, the digger’s arm swings round and smashes the windscreen on his car.
What has Hope discovered?
Fiz distraught as she learns Phill’s secret
The ITV soap has hinted that Fiz’s new man Phill may not be all he seems after the new couple recently moved away from the cobbles.
ITV spoilers have revealed that Tyrone remains suspicious of Phill and what he is up to.
While the spoilers have not yet revealed Fiz’s reaction to Hope’s discovery of the truth about Phill’s secret, by Wednesday she is trying to move out, suggesting the secret is laid bare before her.
Tyrone calls at Phill’s house to collect Fiz’s things, hoping this now means they’ll be reunited.
However a row ensues and as Tyrone makes a grab for Phill, they lose their balance and fall headlong into the wet cement on the patio.
As Phill scours the wet concrete, he reveals that he’s lost an engagement ring – and Tyrone finds the ring.
Phill pulls out the ring and asks Fiz to marry him. As Tyrone waits in the wings, will Fiz give Phill another chance or have her eyes been opened?
Abi plans to flee Weatherfield with baby Alfie
Abi takes the drastic decision to flee the country with her newborn next week on the soap, after losing hope of ever winning custody of him amid the bitter battle with Imran Habeeb.
Next week, Abi approaches Imran and his wife Toyah, asking if she can have Alfie for a whole day the following Monday.
While Toyah tries to keep the peace and agrees, Imran is more reluctant but is forced to go along with it.
Abi has already completed the first steps of her plan to leave the cobbles and is later in the week seen getting two fake passports for her and Alfie, which she plans to use to travel to the warmer climes of Costa Rica with Alfie.
Abi is stopped in her tracks when Kevin comes to her with a confession – the mechanic admits that he has never stopped loving her, despite the difficult hurdles they have had to overcome during their romance.
But Kevin isn’t enough to stop Abi from leaving and she responds by telling him that she’ll be leaving the following day and taking Alfie with her.
Realising that Kevin is the only resident to know all about her plan, she pleads with him to keep quiet but this doesn’t last long.
Kevin is left with a dilemma and struggling to go along with this, he confides in his sister Debbie about Abi’s plot.
Debbie tells Kevin that he has two choices – either tell Imran the truth, or hope that Abi gets away with it.
Later on, Kevin approaches Imran on the street… but will he actually throw Abi under the bus?
Summer in horror mid-exam hospital dash
Summer, played by Harriet Bibby, makes a risky decision in upcoming Coronation Street episodes as she decides to stop taking her insulin.
The teen has been struggling with a diabetes diagnosis and an eating disorder, but is trying to recover after Billy’s (Daniel Brocklebank) discovery she had been secretly purging.
Next week on the ITV soap, it’s clear Summer is feeling the pressure and letting the stress get to her ahead of her exams.
When Summer’s guardian Billy confronts her and accuses her of failing to take her medication regularly, Summer flies off the handle and storms out.
The next day, after she has polished off two bags of crisps, Summer throws her insulin down the sink in a risky move.
When Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) returns home with a takeaway, Summer assures him that she has taken her insulin as necessary – but is alarmed to realise her blood sugar levels have spiked and starts to panic.
A little while later, Summer calms down when she realises her levels have returned to normal.
Later in the week, Summer sets off to take her maths exam, having secretly tipped her insulin down the sink.
As the clock starts on her paper, Summer’s vision becomes blurred. As she rushes to get her diabetes kit, she is horrified to realise that she’s left her medical supplies at home.
As Summer is loaded into an ambulance, she tearfully explains to Aadi (Adam Hussain) that her blood sugar level is sky high.
Will she be okay? And will she tell anyone that she hasn’t been taking her insulin?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
