Kerry Katona has revealed that she’d be up for going back into I’m a Celebrity.
It comes after ITV confirmed recently that the reality series will return to Gwrych Castle in North Wales after relocating to the region last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The celebrity line-up for the new series hasn’t yet been announced, but Kerry has expressed an interest in making a comeback to the show, which she won back in 2004.
The first ever ‘Queen of the Jungle,’ her series – the third in the UK franchise – featured other unforgettable campmates like Katie Price, Peter Andre and John Lydon.
In a column for New magazine this week, the 40-year-old eyed up the opportunity to have another go at I’m a Celebrity, which is set to return later this autumn.
She said: “I enjoyed it [being at Gwrych Castle] last year, but I just hope that the Bushtucker Trials are more difficult this time because I felt like they were much easier in the castle.
“They had such great personalities in the last series and I think that’s what carried it through. So hopefully it’ll be the same again this year.”
The former Atomic Kitten member added: “I’d definitely be up for going back in this year if they asked me.”
It wouldn’t be the first comeback on the popular ITV show as her fellow campmate Katie returned for a second stint in 2009.
Kerry is no stranger to Gwrych Castle, located in Abergele, having visited the historic estate in June as part of a paranormal investigation by Project Reveal – Ghosts of Britain.
She was joined by daughter Lilly McFadden on the ghost hunt, which was conducted by investigative couple Linzi and Lee Steer, whose paranormal Facebook group has more than a million followers.
The investigation came amid reports that the estate was haunted, with several former employees having lifted the lid on unexplained experiences on site in the past.

The recent ghost hunt proved so terrifying that at one point a visibly shaken Kerry fled, with Linzi reporting that the Atomic Kitten singer “locked herself in the car.”
The paranormal investigator added: “She was scared. She kept holding me and you can feel her holding on to me. She linked my arm and she was clinging to me. I felt sorry for her.”
The official line-up of I’m a Celebrity 2021 is expected to be announced in due course. Rumours have already begun circulating, including that Piers Morgan could appear.
Other names tipped to appear include Olympic gold medalist Tom Daley, Love Island finalist Olivia Attwood, former footballer John Barnes and Big Brother star Imogen Thomas.
I’m a Celebrity is set to return on ITV this autumn.
