While the main aim of Love Island hopefuls is to find their one true love, many of the show’s romances end in disaster – with a huge amount of the reality TV hit’s couples splitting shortly after the cameras stop rolling.
However, proving that you can find long-lasting love in the Majorca villa, Jamie Jewitt and Camilla Thurlow have delighted fans as they share a number of happy pictures of their family life, four years on from coupling up together in the third series of Love Island.
The couple, who are parents to daughter Nell together, have renewed fans hope in reality TV relationship over the last few days as they continue their love story and share just how cute their first child is with their Instagram followers.
Posting an adorable shot of himself and his firstborn, Jamie looked every inch the doting dad as he and young Nell got creative with some crayons at lunch with mum Camilla.
“Nell was a natural at her first attempt with crayons. I’m still useless,” the father-of-one wrote in the caption to his 828 thousand Instagram followers.
“But I showed her how to hold them. Job done.”
He ended the sweet caption, saying: “Lovely lunch today with my girls @camillathurlow.”
Fans were quick to comment on just how cute the celebrity couple’s young baby is, with one writing “Melts my heart she is adorable” and another simply saying: “Well this is cute.”
32-year-old Camilla and model Jamie made it all the way to the final of Love Island in 2017, finishing runners-up to eventual winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies.
While they may not have won their series, they remain the only couple from the third series of the ITV2 show to still remain together, and in October 2020, announced that they had welcome their first child into the world together, daughter Nell.
Earlier this week, Camilla, who worked in Explosive Ordance Disposal before becoming a reality TV star, also shared some cute family snaps online with her young daughter.
Posing with the tot and cleaning device for a promotional image, the mum-of-one beamed as she held Nell in her arms for the photoshoot.
Fans and celebrity pals alike could resist sharing their thought’s on Camilla’s happiness as a mother.
“Watching you be upset on my love island breaks my heart,” one follower commented.
“I’m so glad you found Jamie and that you and your beautiful family blossomed!”
Another fan quipped “What a gorgeous photo one to be framed,” while fellow Love Island alumna Gabby Allen left a number of love-heart eye emojis underneath the cute family snap.
In June 2021, the 32-year-old mother opened to Tyla about giving birth during a pandemic and parenting throughout lockdowns.
“Becoming a mother is so overwhelming,” she told the publication.
“We’re all trying to be the best we can be for our babies. What works for one family might not work for someone else.
“It’s so important that we’re able to speak to other parents without casting judgement, because these judgements can have a real effect. We want people to have a place where they can definitely share their experiences, but they can get advice that can help and empower parents.”
