The Great British Bake Off star Prue Leith went to an orgy packed with “bouncing bottoms” in Paris.
Red-faced Prue retold the saucy tale from her youth when she joined stars Boy George, Big Zuu, Joanne McNally and London Grammar on the Jonathan Ross sofa.
The TV judge confessed she was “so embarrassed” because she didn’t realise she was going to an orgy, she had thought she was going to a party with her date.
At the time, she was 19 and in Paris.
She said: “I did go to an orgy in Paris, but I have to claim I didn’t know I was going to go to an orgy. I thought I was going to a party. Went with a very nice guy, so thought that would be great.
“All I can say is room after room of bouncing bottoms everywhere… on the floor, in all the rooms. I was so embarrassed. Anyhow, this guy, he thought it was fantastic. So he just vanished.”
At the orgy, the TV personality admitted she had to strip off all her clothes to remain “invisible” while she walked around.
Cheeky Prue said she missed out on the actual orgy even though she was there as she spent the time making up excuses not to get involved from going to the bar or looking for a friend.
She added: “So there I am, 19 or something. So I went to the bar and somebody immediately said to me, ‘Why have you got your clothes on?’ I said, ‘I’m just going to change’. I’d walk away.
“Someone else saying, ‘Why have you got clothes on?’ So I realised the only way to be invisible was to take my clothes off. So I took my clothes off and walked around this party.
“Spent the next hour saying I was going to the bar, the loo, looking for a friend. I missed the orgy, although I was there!”
Prue mused: “I’ve lived a long time, doesn’t seem worth not enjoying it.”
In lockdown, Prue confessed she has put on one stone in weight as she cheekily quipped it’s because of the new rule of six.
She said: “Rule of six every night with cocktails – the result is I’ve put on a stone. Alcohol doesn’t half put it on. I make them up [the recipes]. I like anything with blue curacao.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Prue said the secret to her youthful looks has been “happiness”.
She said: “It’s happiness. I’ve just had a really lucky life. I like my job, I like my family, I like my friends, I even like my husband.”
Prue spoke from the heart when she talked about her husband John and their “wonderful” love which she said has her behaving like a teenager.
She said: “We got married when I was 76. He was 70. I had to get married in Scotland, because he refused to wear a kilt south of the border. I was determined, if I was going to get married this guy had to be in a kilt. So we went to Scotland where he was prepared to wear one. He won’t wear one south of the border, he thinks it’s naff. He’s got a very good undercarriage.”
She added: “What people don’t realise, especially young people, it actually feels exactly the same at 70, 80 or 60 when you lust after someone as you do when you’re 20. In my generation, girls would look at their telephones and long for it to ring… and nowadays, when I met John, I was thinking, do I dare text him,… is that pushy, or not funny, why would he answer.
“All this rubbish goes through your head. You behave like a teenager. It’s just wonderful.”
