English actor Luke Newton has confirmed that filming for the second series of Bridgerton has begun.
The 28-year-old took to Instagram to share a few behind the scenes snaps to his 489k followers.
In the first photo, Luke and fellow actor Luke Thompson can be seen sat on top of horses as they have a chat in between takes.
The second snap shows Luke sat alongside Jonathan Bailey as they relax backstage and pull funny poses.
And the third post is a black and white clip of the two Lukes sat on their horses as they prepare to film more dramatic scenes as brothers Colin and Benedict Bridgerton.
Luke simply captioned the Instagram post: “The boys are back in town,” in reference to the hit Thin Lizzy song.
The snaps have already been liked over 150,000 times and fans of the Netflix period drama were quick to comment.
One person wrote: “I’m so excited for season 2 OMG OMG,” while another added: “be still my beating heart.”
The post was even liked by actor RegeĢ-Jean Page, who plays the role of Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings.
It comes after actress Phoebe Dynevor shared an unseen behind-the-scenes snap from Bridgerton season one earlier this month.
The 25-year-old star, who played Daphne Bridgerton in the steamy Netflix series, took to Instagram to share a picture of herself sat in a director’s chair while holding a large umbrella.
She was wearing a pink, silky dress, which she donned in the series, as she took a break from filming.
“This happened a year and a half ago…” she captioned the post.
Bridgerton is based on Julia Quinn’s novels set in the world of Regency-era London’s high society and fans immediately fell in love with the characters.
The series centres around the Bridgerton family and Daphne’s intense relationship with the Duke of Hastings.
Bridgerton season one is available to stream on Netflix now.
