Production on The Witcher season 2 has continued to move full steam ahead — with Lambert actor Paul Bullion officially marking his final day filming the new episodes. The fantasy-adventure saga first came to prominence as a set of novels and short stories by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. First published in 1993, they have since been adapted as a film, a series of graphic novels, and most notably a hugely popular franchise of video games. The world of The Continent was next seen on the small screen, with a series released via Netflix in December 2019. A second season, an animated spin-off, and a prequel series were rapidly greenlit.
The Witcher season 1 followed Geralt of Rivia as he embarked on various monster-hunting quests. Along the way, he encountered several prominent figures that will go on to play pivotal roles in his life. Equally, he increasingly found his fate entwined with that of Ciri, the surviving princess of Cintra. With the pair finally meeting in the finale’s closing moments, The Witcher season 2 will see Geralt take Ciri under his wing and train her as a Witcher. To that end, he will take her to Kaer Morhen. As a result, several new Witchers were confirmed for season 2. One will be a younger and often rude Witcher named Lambert. It remains unconfirmed how large his role will be. However, the actor, Bullion, has shared on social media that he officially wrapped filming — appreciating the familial nature of the cast and crew in the process. Check out the posts below:
