Britain’s Got Talen t viewers were left completely stunned after tonight’s show-stopping performances.
A number of eagle-eyed fans insisted that they had outsmarted magician Marc Spellman after his ‘shady’ magic trick left them perplexed.
Christmas night’s amazing spectacle didn’t disappoint as former BGT stars including Jon Courtenay, Attraction, Richard Jones, Ben Hart, Marc Spellman, Asanda Jezile, Souparnika Nair, Fayth Ifil, Sarah Ikumu, and Beau Dermott all took the stage for the Christmas finale.
While each and every act put on an unforgettable show, it was Marc mind-boggling magic trick which got everyone talking.
Marc brought back his famous X character – but there was a massive twist that nobody could have seen coming.
The incredibly talented magician asked the four judges to get involved, which added even more excitement to the performance as they placed an item of theirs in a Christmas box.
Marc raked in the help of Amanda Holden, who he enlisted to pick a random phone number from her ‘subconscious mind’.
He then called the number, and a man called Christian Nardi picked up.
On the table, in front of Alesha was a random name, which happened to be the same name as the man on the other end of the phone.
Marc then proceeded to perform as X, as he placed the infamous mask over his head before making the Christmas box vanish.
All of a sudden, Christian who was still on FaceTime with Amanda, took off a mask and exposed himself as Marc.
So, who was X then? The audience and judges all gasped as X removed his mask and exposed himself as Ant McPartlin.
“It was Ant,” Alesha exclaimed before the BGT host quipped, “It was me! I’ve been X all these years!”.
“Oh my gosh, that was unbelievable!” Amanda gushed.
Meanwhile, fans flocked to Twitter to expose the magic trick.
“So wait, he obviously could have just hypnotised Amanda to have called his own number? That’s not really magic,” suggested one eagle-eyed viewer.
“Marc’s set has got me really confused rather than amazed… I mean, he could have just dialled another phone number after that” another echoed.
“SO he was sitting back stage all along with a mask on his face? I think not! They got a lookalike to play him!” a third insisted.
While a fourth Tweeted: “Not convinced by X’s performance. And why was Ant involved? He was nowhere to be seen at the start so it’s not that shocking. It’s a no from me!”
Another fumed: “So he used a call forwarding app and put Ant in a mask? Wow. Amazing. Britain has talent, indeed.”
