Netflix has confirmed the returns of reality TV hits Selling Sunset and Bling Empire.
In a new blog post from Netflix, the streaming service announced they were going all-in on their docusoaps content.
Reality TV soap opera Selling Sunset will return for both a fourth and fifth season of property-related antics of the Oppenheim Group as we head back to the sunny climes of California’s Hollywood Hills and Sunset Strip.
Returning cast members include Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn, Mary Fitzgerald, Romain Bonnet, Heather Rae Young, Amanza Smith, Maya Vander, Davina Potratz, and Jason and Brett Oppenheim.
Will the ladies find further love and happiness, or more drama and rivalries?
Additionally, the creators of Selling Sunset will be creating a whole new series focused on the all-Black and all-female real estate Allure Realty on the Florida coast, which is headed up by the ambitious and driven Sharelle Rosado.
Meanwhile, a second run of Bling Empire has also been confirmed, which follows the lives of a group of rich and fabulous Asian and Asian-Americans social networks in California.
Naturally, with big money and big personalities, friendships and rivalries ensue.
The first season of the docusoap was released on the streaming platform back in January.
Finally, the producers of Bling Empire are also bringing us a whole new series in the form of My Unorthodox Life.
The series centres on global talent empire boss Julia Haart, who has left behind her time as part of a strict ultra-Orthodox Jewish community.
In addition to be the CEO of Elite World Group, Julia also balances being a mother to four children, who include a lawyer, app designer, TikTok star, and a confused teenager.
All throughout, Julia looks to reconcile her children’s modern US lifestyles with their ultra-Orthodox Jewish cultural heritage.
Brandon Riegg, Netflix VP of Unscripted and Documentary Series notes in his blog post: “These shows follow a person or group of people (like family, friends, or coworkers) going about their real, everyday lives.
“They can offer a fun, light-hearted escape, or inspire a juicy, heated debate.
“They can provide a glimpse into a world different from our own, or even show a new side of our own circles. (And yes, they’re usually filled with more feuds, tears and tense dinner parties than our regular lives.)”.
Well, we cannot wait to enjoy the drama!
