Love Island: Amber gets her heel stuck

Amber Beckford did a Demi Jones – and took an awkward tumble in the Love Island villa.

The nanny – who hails from London – ended up tripping up and fell straight to the floor in a hilarious clip shown on the ITV2 show, Love Island: Unseen Bits, on Saturday night.

Amber was just walking through the villa when she ended up crashing onto the floor with a loud thump, the other Islanders rushing over to check she was ok – but she saw the funny side of it.

It follows Demi’s iconic fall that went viral after she slipped up – but managed to perfectly preserve her drink.

In the funny clip, Amber is just walking over the decking when she suddenly takes a tumble and ends up on the floor.

Off camera, screaming can be heard as Ikenna Ekwonna looks back to see what the commotion is. On realising what happened, they all rushed over to check she was ok before realising the cause of her fall was that her shoe got stuck in the decking.

The Islanders are then desperately seen trying to pull the shoe free as they all watch on.

It comes after Demi’s fall back in 2020, when she headed for a chat with love rival Shaughna Phillips, as she confessed to her that she wanted to get to knew Luke M a little more. But it wasn’t the drama that everyone was talking about, but how Demi fell over – and her drink glass ended up placed up the right way.

“That was probably the best ‘head over heels’ moment of the whole series by Demi there,” one fan had penned at the time.

It might be the case that Amber hasn’t seen the whole of the 2020 series, including Demi’s iconic fall, as before she entered the villa, she admitted she barely watches the show herself.

She told The Mirror and other press: “I definitely think, as I’ve gotten older, I haven’t watched the show as much.

“With the earlier series, I was a very dedicated watcher. In the last few years, definitely, in the summer, I’ve been away myself and haven’t been able to keep up with it as much as in previous years.”
