Baffled Love Island fans are desperate to know what Chloe’s real accent is after a voice note from week one resurfaced.
The 25-year-old financial services marketing executive, who hails from Bicester in Oxfordshire, sounded noticeably different in the recording, with many fans joking that she went from having a “posh girl” accent to speaking like a “roadman”.
On Saturday’s episode of Unseen Bits, Toby listened back to Chloe’s voice note in a bid to wind her up.
It was originally recorded and aired to viewers during her entrance scene, where one of the boys picked her to go on a date.
“Hey boys. How are you? Chloe here,” she innocently says. “I’ve just arrived and I’m waiting outside the villa. I’d like to invite you all out on a date with me. But I need you to decide.”
“Hopefully I’ll see you soon!” she chirps at the end.
Tyler, who was sat across from Chloe and Toby with Kaz on the day beds, asked: “Was that Chloe’s voice note from week one?”
Quickly trying to shut him down, Chloe jokingly said: “F**k off Tyler, you p***k.”
“That doesn’t even sound like you,” Tyler laughed.
But he wasn’t the only one who noticed it, with viewers left gobsmacked by her real accent.
Begging for answers, they took to Twitter.
One person wrote: “So I’ve just read that Chloe is from Oxfordshire and now her accent is confusing me even more.”
A second penned: “I’m still so confused why chloe’s accent changes every 2 seconds. get her some voiceover work when she leaves the villa.”
“Funny thing is that voice note is Chloe’s real accent,” a third commented.
Meanwhile, fans are convinced Chloe has a dark plan to stealing the £50,000 prize if she wins the ITV2 dating show with Toby.
While some viewers have been bowled over by their rekindled romance, some have speculated she’s got her sights set on the cash.
“I reckon chloe & Tobi (sic) take the crown and then Chloe steals the £50k,” one viewer jokingly suggested.

Many more Love Island fans speculated that Chloe could become the first ever person to win the show then steal the winnings.
“Wouldn’t it be amazing if Chloe and Toby won but then she took all the money,” one tweeted.
“I love Chloe and Toby but I don’t see them lasting long term on the outside,” another added, fuelling the theory that Chloe is staying coupled up with love rat Toby in an effort to win the big prize.
* Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2.
