I’m A Celebrity residents in Wales celebrate as ITV show heads to Abergale

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here is set to descend on the Welsh town of Abergale in less than two weeks and residents are celebrating.

Ahead of the much-anticipated return of the hit ITV show, that will be filmed at Gwrych Castle, local residents are decorating their shops with tributes inspired by the show.

Plenty of local shop owners have even decorated their windows with pictures of I’m A Celeb presenters Ant and Dec as they gear up to welcome a host of famous faces to the coastal town.

It comes as ITV bosses gear up for the I’m A Celeb return on November 15 at a set located in the UK for the first time in show history.

Among the local tributes that can be spotted around the vicinity, are several images of Ant and Dec portrayed as butterflies and masks.

One particular display had the phrase “I’m A Bug Get Me Out Of Here,” sprawled across a window in colourful letters.

Another made a miniature display of the haunted castle that is set to house the celebrities later this month.

One entertaining post, also read: “I’m the celeb here! Nobody is getting out of here,” alongside an image of a local resident.

The rumour mill is in full speed as fans eagerly await the announcement of what celebrities will be heading into the Welsh castle.

Despite Wales currently facing a two-week lockdown ‘circuit breaker,’ it also hasn’t stopped television bosses gearing up for the new series.

A spokesperson for the castle also confirmed the news, writing: “Following the announcement from the First Minister the overriding message is that filming CAN continue in Wales providing related activity cannot be undertaken from home, and there is full compliance with Welsh law.

“We cannot wait to see I’m A Celebrity on our screens.”

This year’s IAC uniforms have also been tweaked this year in order to help keep everyone warm in the blustery Welsh weather.
