Good Morning Britain has been hit with 100 complaints after a protestor stormed off the show last week.
Viewers contacted the broadcasting watchdog after they were left fuming over a controversial interview with an Insulate Britain protestor aired on TV.
The interview became heated as hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley questioned Liam Norton on protestors on the M25 putting others’ lives at risk .
As things grew incredibly tense, Liam raged: “We’ve been pleading with our government for 30 years – “
“And risking people’s lives,” Richard interjected.

Liam continued: “- And what we’re saying to the government is this – this is our line in the sand. We are demanding that the government make a meaningful statement to save the future of this country and if they refuse to do it-“
“You’ll kill people,” Richard again interrupted.
“- they can put as in prison,” Liam said. “That’s the Home Secretary’s decision and I’ve had enough of talking to people in this country.”
He then stood up and continued to shout as Richard quipped: “You’re doing a Piers Morgan! You’re doing a Piers!”
Liam raged: “This is the state of things! Goodbye!”

“Bye,” Richard replied.
“Yeah, bye,” Liam fumed before storming off the set.
Richard addressed viewers as he referred to Liam’s earlier comments comparing Insulate Britain to Winston Churchill.
He joked: “Ladies and gentlemen watching this programme, we now know that these protestors are actually following in the footsteps of Winston Churchill. That is the level of intellectual debate that they’re able to bring to the table.”

While another commented: “Kicking off on #GMB this morning #InsulateBritain #goodmorningbritain.”
A third wrote: “Insulate Britain moron Liam Norton stormed off #GMB set this morning after Ranting at hosts Susanna Reid & Richard Madeley over activists blocking the M25. #m25protest #m25protesters #m25protests.”
