Coronation Street: Sarah furious at Adam’s birthday gift
Coronation Street’s Adam Barlow is headed for more nasty surprises on the soap after he has been besieged with a surprise stalker plot this week.
This week on the soap Adam (Sam Robertson) suffered a car windscreen being smashed in, then an armed police squad raids the office following a fake firearms tip-off and on top of that he begins to receive creepy silent phone calls.
This all leads up to Valentine’s Day, when his wife Sarah (Tina O’Brien) finds a mysterious bouquet of flowers with a threatening note at Adam’s luxury flat in Redbank Apartments.
The disturbing note inside reads: “Next bouquet will be for your funeral.”

Ever since Lydia arrived on the cobbles and it was revealed that she and Adam had briefly been together at university, their relationship has been fraught.

After angering Lydia with his dismissive and occasionally rude attitude, the situation became heated when someone keyed Adam’s car and he accused Lydia.
The drama now continues next week on Monday, February 14, when Lydia opens a gift bag in the factory and pulls out a set of sexy lingerie.
She makes out it’s from her ex and says she is confused by his mixed messages.
To make matters worse, Adam calls Sarah and cancels their Valentine’s date, leaving his wife fuming.

In later scenes, the Barlows spent Valentine’s Day apart as Adam is seen leading a client through to the hotel restaurant, while Sarah parks herself with Peter and Carla in the Rovers to moan about her ruined Valentine’s Day.
Later in the week during the episode airing Friday, February 18, Adam tells Sarah that he wants to try again for a baby.
Could Lydia and Adam be headed for a marriage break down? And is Lydia’s anger at Adam turning destructive and vengeful?
