Strictly Come Dancing’s Christmas special is just weeks away – and the stars have had their festive makeovers.
The Repair Shop’s Jay Blades, presenter Moira Stuart, First Dates star Fred Sirieix, Adrian Chiles, pop star Anne Marie and presenter and actress Mel Giedroyc are the six celebrities signed up to take part in this year’s Christmas special.
And ahead of their stint on the dancefloor, we have a first look at their amazing costumes as they prepare to take to floor with a festive-inspired routine in the hope of lifting the very special Christmas Glitterball trophy.
Jay will be paired with dancer Luba Mushtuk whilst Moira will dance with Aljaz Skorjanec, who has been dressed like an elf.

“I’m super excited, times two! One, because I’m going to learn a new dance apart from the ‘Dad’ dance, and two because I’m going to be on Strictly! It’s a show that I’ve always admired, and I can’t wait to see how I perform!” Jay recently said of his stint on the show.
Fred will dance with Dianne Buswell whilst Adrian has been partnered with Jowita Przystal as they prepare to take on the challenge of Strictly Come Dancing.

The First Dates star has said in the past: “I absolutely love Christmas so I’m delighted to be taking part in the Strictly Christmas special and to be partnered with the magnificent Dianne. I hope my dance moves bring some Christmas joy to everybody watching at home and don’t make the judges say ‘Bah, Humbug!’ I got the phone call and I was as excited as I was scared.”
Anne-Marie will dance with Graziano Di Prima and she has vowed to be “competitive” on the dancefloor.

She said: “I’m excited to take part in the Strictly Christmas special. I love the show, and who would turn down a dance with Graziano?!”
And former Great British Bake Off star Mel is a self-confessed Strictly fan and can’t wait to dance with Neil Jones, as she added: “I don’t think I’ve been this excited about Christmas since I got my first guinea-pig from Santa in 1978.”
It comes after Anton du Beke said he was “slightly disappointed” to be judging the Christmas special – rather than dancing in it.
“I LOVE the Christmas special – it’s marvellous, the songs are great and the costumes are amazing. I’m slightly disappointed that I’m judging as I’d love to be dancing in it because I love it so much,” he said.
