Let’s learn more about Resident Evil’s next blockbuster.
Resident Evil: Apocalypse: Racoon City is a great place to visit.
The upcoming survival horror film Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is written and directed by Johannes Roberts. It’s a reboot of the Resident Evil film franchise, which is based in part on the Resident Evil video game franchise. It is based on the first and second Capcom games.
Producer James Wan showed interest in the idea after the release of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter in early 2017. Martin Moszkowicz, the head of Constantin Film, subsequently indicated that a remake of the film series was in the works.

Welcome To Racoon City is the Resident Evil storyline.
Formerly the flourishing headquarters of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation, Raccoon City is now a decaying Midwestern hamlet. The corporation’s departure left the city in ruins, with massive evil festering under the surface.
When that evil is unleashed, the villagers are forever changed, and only a small group of survivors can discover the truth about Umbrella and survive the night.
Welcome To Raccoon City director Johannes Roberts said that the remake is about returning to the original content and maintaining the same dark atmosphere and feeling of dread that the video games were known for.
So far, the film seems to be a more faithful adaptation of the original games, but we don’t know what to expect from the action or what liberties the film will take with the series’ history. Despite the fact that the film is just a few months away from release, we have yet to see any trailers or footage, so we’ll have to wait a little longer to get a better idea of the mood and tone.
Is there a live-action version of Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City?
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is the first live-action film in the Resident Evil series without Milla Jovovich. This isn’t the first time a Resident Evil game has been adapted into a film.
However, there is live-action in this film. You’ll find out as you watch.
In Resident Evil, what is the condition of Raccoon City?
Raccoon City was a tiny, industrialized town in Arklay County, in the United States’ isolated mountainous area. Raccoon City, with a population of approximately 100,000 people, is located in the Midwest of the United States.
Beyond the city’s northern border lie the massive Raccoon Forest and the Arklay Mountains. It was formerly a little rural town, but due to the facilities of Umbrella Corporation, it has expanded quickly. Total devastation occurs during the t-Virus outbreak in 1998. The region is presently separated from the rest of the world by a US government installation.
