Viewers tuning into This Morning on Friday afternoon were left stunned when Alice Beer alluded to saucy bedroom antics.
The 55-year-old blonde appeared via video link from her London home to show off some epic kitchen gadgets to hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.
As she picked up one of the products, Alice told them: “This is the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser. I mean, frankly this is more like a Valentine’s Day bedroom piece of kit. It’s so darn sexy.”
The camera then cut to host Dermot, 47, who looked shocked at Alice’s comment.
She then continued: “It comes in three different colours, this is the copper one. I mean you just want to stroke it. Even if you never use it, it’s worth having in your kitchen.”
Alison then butted in: “I could do some other things with that as well,” which led Dermot to put his head in his hands.
Alice quickly replied: “Alison! It’s your birthday, you can’t get away with everything!”
However, Alison was quick to justify her previous comment and said: “In case someone came into my house, I could knock them over the head!”
Viewers at home were stunned by Alice’s bedroom comment and took to Twitter to comment.
“Ewww @_alicebeer don’t say that about that velvetiser, my son has just bought his girlfriend one for her birthday #ThisMorning,” one tweeted.
Another person observed: “Looks like Alice loves a bit of squirty cream and chocolate in the bedroom #ThisMorning.”
And a third viewer joked: “Going to pour the chocolate on my wife as Alice suggested. She will thank me #thismorning.”
A fourth fan of the show simply tweeted: “WTF Alice??? #ThisMorning,” alongside a flushed face emoji.
