Love Island’s Amy Day was far from happy with Hugo Hammond after the pair were dramatically dumped from the villa on Thursday night.
The couple, who first paired up in Casa Amor, were part of a shocking twist which saw four islanders leave the luxury accommodation. Sam Jackson and Clarisse Juliette were also given their marching orders.
And speaking in her exit chat, brunette bombshell Amy dismissed original islander Hugo as a fake.
Amy reiterated that her feelings for the PE teacher were real and said he “reminded me of friends I had back home”.
She claimed it was clear for all to see how she felt and admitted: “I think at the end, everyone questioned why on earth he just wasn’t reciprocating what I was giving.”

But while she said she thought there was an instant chemistry between the pair, she blasted him for snubbing her as soon as they got back to the main villa.
When asked if their relationship changed when the entered the main villa she said: “It was almost instant, the next day, he was very hot and cold.
“He would never naturally choose to come and chill with me. So for me it felt it was all for show.”
Fans of the show were left cringing with Hugo and Amy’s final speech together on the show as he branded the relationship “tragic”, admitting: “My search for love in there, tragic is probably the word for it.
“I’ll walk away with my head held high, I stayed true to myself and I look forward to the next chapter on what life has in store for Mr Hammond.”
Amy looked stunned by the comments, with fans flocking to social media after picking up on her facial expressions.

While she said that she’s “glad” she paired with Hugo in Casa Amor as it “felt right,” she revealed that she was sad she didn’t pursue other opportunities after discovering Hugo was “fake”.
“He wasn’t telling me that he didn’t like me,” she said. “I do wish I’d opened up and re-coupled with someone else.”
She does believe however that her time on the show could bring future sparks in her dating life.

She revealed that there could have been a potential romance with Sam and left the door open for a possible date in the outside world.
“He’s easy to talk to,” she said. “Very handsome and I could just tell he’s actually genuine. And he wasn’t forcing anything, he was just being himself.
“I’d go on a date with Sam – a restaurant in London, eat good food, rooftop bar and loads of drinks.”
