I’ve seen some truly amazing films so far this year, but I’ve also seen some total stinkers too. The Road to Nod tenaciously drops into the latter category.
Jarmusch stylisation, glimpses of The Fugitive, Werner Herzog with his crime hat on, Nod manages to carry all of these miraculous traits and concoct something truly loathsome, banal and painful.
Mustering up any sort of enthusiasm, disdain or otherwise, for this review was a difficult feat. Seeking solace, all I ask is to spend just 203 seconds talking in your ears. Go on, click that play button, it’s what all your ordained religious figures would have wanted.
