014: How to Get Ahead in Advertising (1989)

Bruce Robinson’s all but forgotten, quintessentially British comedies is a spotty Orwellian take on the consumerist modern world and an ad-execs inability to get a grip on his gripes. Withnail & I it certainly ain’t, hilarious it certainly is.

THE GOOD: Richard E Grant. And don’t you forget it.

THE BAD: Where’s Monty? Where’s the booze?

THE UGLY: The boil. It’s ew.
